The EAP is a free, confidential program that provides a professional support system for the faculty and staff of the university. Since its inception in 1995, it has assisted thousands of employees through professional, personal and family issues.

Jim Bramblett is the Director of the FSU Employee Assistance Program. He is an FSU alum and “bleeds garnet and gold”. Jim has been with the FSU EAP since 1996 and previously worked in behavioral healthcare settings, university student counseling, and private practice. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). Jim is a member of the FSU Threat Assessment Team (TAT) and he has served as an adjunct instructor in the FSU Colleges of Human Sciences and Social Work.
Melissa Bolen is the Clinical Coordinator of the FSU EAP. She is also an FSU alum and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Melissa has been with the FSU EAP since 2013 and previously worked in a juvenile delinquency detention center. She is a member of the FSU Healthy Campus Mental Health Team, on the Noles Care in Academics Advisory Board and serves on the FAMU College of Education Counselor Education Advisory Council.
